I’m Deion, a Full Stack Developer and UX/UI Designer from Denver, CO ✌🏽

Hi, I'm Deion - a versatile Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience designing and developing modern web and mobile applications. I've led full project lifecycles—from UX/UI design and prototyping to scalable front- and back-end development—across startup, freelance, and entrepreneurial environments. I'm proficient in React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL, with a strong focus on performance, SEO, scalability, maintainability, and responsive design. I'm also skilled at collaborating cross-functionally, managing client relationships, and delivering polished digital products that align with business goals.

I earned my degree in Computer Science & Engineering, but I've learned most of what I know from the internet and ample trial and error.

Recently, I discovered a passion for outdoor cycling, and it has become my go-to activity when I need a physical challenge & mental break. I love climbing and descending the Rocky Mountains (CO native!) but lately have gotten a kick out of seeing how much ground I can cover on the flats.

Besides biking, I enjoy playing pick-up basketball, hiking, camping, and keeping a daily meditation practice.
